Pilot Programme for Accreditation of Certification Bodies for Fire Risk Management System Certification to PAS 7 – Announcement of Pilot Applicants

Following the call for expressions of interest on 31 July 2015 organisations were invited to apply for the pilot programme for the accreditation of certification bodies under ISO 17021-1 for the assessment of fire risk management systems to PAS 7: 2013.   The closing date for applications was 31 March 2016. UKAS is pleased to announce that the following organisations will participate in the UKAS pilot assessment programme:

• IsoComply Ltd
• MMRA Ltd

On satisfactory completion of assessment by UKAS and on timely completion of the pilot assessment programme requirements, the applicants will be accredited to ISO 17021-1 for the assessment of fire risk management systems to PAS 7: 2013. The pilot assessment programme commenced in July 2016 and will be completed in March 2017. The scheme will then be open to other organisations wishing to apply for accreditation.
